We will ask you to provide the following:
- Company name, legal entity, and contact details
- Target EU country for registration (default: Germany)
- Product name, description, and images
- Brand name

If your business is based outside the EU, we will also request a signed authorization form to appoint EaseCert Germany as your EU Authorized Representative.
Step 3: Product Scope and Category Review
We assess whether your product falls under the scope of the WEEE Directive and assign the correct category (e.g. small IT, lighting equipment, household appliances). We also check that labeling and documentation meet WEEE compliance standards.
Step 4: WEEE Registration Submission
We prepare and submit your application to the appropriate national register (e.g. Stiftung EAR in Germany), including all required technical and business data.
Step 5: Registration Number Issuance
Once approved, you will receive your official WEEE registration number. This number is required for marketplace listings (e.g. Amazon, eBay) and for legal sales within the EU.
